“Well, Cherry, it’s time to say goodbye.”

The girls barely look at me as Angelo speaks. It’s like Cheyenne said, they all have dreams of being bought by a sugar daddy and getting some fairy-tale ending. So I think they’re upset I’m the one who’s been chosen, even though it’s not what they think.

I wish I could tell them the truth so they’d stop acting like I’ve stolen their future happiness. I honestly doubt a single man that comes into this place, Burren Duke included, would actually give them what they’re after. The wealthy ones are mean and don’t seem like the type that would spoil anyone. Their need for power and control drives them. Add that to boredom and a bottomless wallet, and it’s a bad combination. Just look at what happened to the girl who ended up in the film.

“I’m praying for your safety,” Tulip whispers as she leans in for a hug.

She’s the only one who cares I’m leaving. In a few days, she’s going to be shipped off, too. Unless Vince can prevent it from happening. Besides Cheyenne, she’s the only other girl who I know for certain is playing a part. Maybe she came to this place wanting to escape a nightmare or wishing for a dream that will never come true, but along the way she’s realized this place is hell and the men in it are all evil. Every single one of them.

“Thank you. I’ll be praying for you, too.” I squeeze her back, and the emotion rocks right through me. Tears slip down my cheeks as I silently pray that I’ll see her again, and when I do, we’ll both be free and in a much better place.

“Come on, Cherry. That’s enough. You guys need to get on the road so you’re not late.”

Angelo takes my arm and drags me out the door with Vince following behind. I’m scared something will go wrong and that I won’t be freed after all. If Vince gets caught in his rescue attempt, he’ll be killed on the spot. That thought is more frightening than the nightmare I’ve lived through for the past month.

“Now, you behave for your new daddy, Cherry. I don’t want to get any calls asking for a damn refund.” Angelo smirks, pointing me with a glare. “Damn, those tears have my cock ready to bust. He’s going to love you. Fuck.”

He turns toward Vince, shaking his head. “You better get her on out of here, Vince, before I cross the boss’s orders and cop me a feel of that sweet snatch.”

God, he really is vile. Vince opens the passenger door and I climb in quickly. I’m ready to be away from the lecherous man. I just pray that everything will go as planned and I’ll never have to see the wolf or this horrible place ever again.

As soon as Vince is settled in the driver’s seat, we’re pulling out. My stomach knots up when I see Sal and Lewis following behind us in two separate vehicles.
